EPCNT Awarded Bids

It is the intent of the school district and the EPCNT to obtain the best quality materials at the lowest prices possible. In determining to whom to award a contract, the co-operative considers the following criteria:

  1. the purchase price;
  2. the reputation of the vendor and of the vendor’s goods or services;
  3. the quality of the vendor’s goods or services;
  4. the extent to which the goods or services meet the district’s need;
  5. the vendor’s past relationship with the co-operative remember districts;
  6. the impact on the ability of the co-operative to comply with laws and rules relating to historically underutilized businesses;
  7. the total long-term cost to the co-operative member districts to acquire the vendor’s goods or services
  8. and any other relevant factor specially listed in the request for bid or proposals.

??? Let’s confirm what I should expect when someone has something to add…. original bid documents, bid tabulation, completed spreadsheet (based on “Vendor List Template” spreadsheet you sent last month (NOTE – THIS IS NOT THE ONE I CREATED), other documents?

??? DO YOU WANT A CONSOLIDATED SPREADSHEET? Where should that be housed?

??? Is it ok to unlink Host District & Bid Number… in most cases, contain the same docs as Bid Information

??? Can Host District go to their webpage (same as other, or a should it be purchasing department link?, or should it be to a bookmark on member district page i.e., directly to the ISD point of contact listed for EPCNT)

??? Can Bid Number and Bid Title have no links?  i.e., is it confusing what is where?

??? Can Bid Information be split into 3 columns… Bid Documents, Bid Tabulation, Vendor Contact List (the spreadsheet), Other Documents?

??? Do you want to add a Bid Description column (mentioned in an email)?  Or, include in italics under Bid Title
